The Last Flame
The Last Flame is a tactical roguelike autobattler where every run is spent building a stronger and stronger party. You’ll recruit heroes, collect equipment, uncover relics, and choose your route across a branching map, gradually assembling a team capable of surviving increasingly difficult battles. Once combat begins your heroes fight automatically, so success depends entirely on the decisions you made beforehand.
No two expeditions develop in quite the same way. With 65 heroes, hundreds of items, and a huge collection of relics and origins influencing every run, it’s surprisingly easy to abandon your original plan when a stronger combination begins to emerge. Some parties are built around a single powerful carry, while others rely on carefully stacking bonuses across the whole team, giving every run its own identity.
What Makes It Different?
- An endless mode where you can keep pushing your strongest party beyond the final boss
- 65 unique heroes that can be combined into countless party compositions
- 325 items to collect, equip, and craft into even stronger gear
- 150 relics that can completely change the direction of a build
- 60 origins that unlock even more hero synergies and strategies
- Branching maps filled with shops, events, elite encounters, and powerful rewards
- Five difficulty levels that steadily introduce tougher enemies and new challenges
- 20 optional challenge modes that encourage completely different approaches
How It Plays
Every run begins with a small party and a map full of choices. As you move from encounter to encounter you’ll recruit new heroes, visit shops, collect treasure, and decide which route offers the best chance of strengthening your team. Some paths provide valuable rewards, while others lead to tougher fights that can end a promising run if your party isn’t ready.
Between battles you’ll spend your time improving the team you’ve assembled. Heroes can be equipped with increasingly powerful items, unwanted gear can be crafted into something more useful, and relics often encourage you to rethink your strategy entirely. It’s common for an unexpected item or newly recruited hero to send a run in a completely different direction than you originally intended.
The battles themselves play out automatically, leaving you free to see whether your planning pays off. Positioning, equipment, hero synergies, and relic choices all work together, and the strongest parties usually emerge through dozens of small decisions rather than one overpowered combination. Once you’ve conquered the standard game, higher difficulty levels, endless mode, and additional challenges provide even more reasons to experiment with different builds.
