Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect a username, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text). Content you choose to post, including forum posts, comments, reviews, tier lists, and profile customizations, is collected and displayed as part of the service. If you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address for that purpose. Like most websites, we automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, which we use for security, debugging, and understanding how the site is used.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and operate site features. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. How we use information

We use collected information to operate and improve the site, run community features such as the Aura economy, events, and giveaways, send newsletters you have requested, respond to messages you send us, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the site (such as hosting and email delivery providers), with advertising partners as described above, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of the site and its users. Content you post publicly is, by its nature, visible to others.

Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period. We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights, or delete your account entirely, by contacting us through the contact page. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Terms of Service

Acceptance

By using Allrogues you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be flagged on the site.

Accounts and conduct

You are responsible for your account and everything posted through it. Keep your credentials secure. You agree not to harass others, post unlawful or infringing content, spam, impersonate anyone, attempt to breach or overload the site, manipulate community systems (including votes, boosts, and giveaways), or use automated tools to interact with the site without our written permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant Allrogues a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the site. You represent that you have the rights to whatever you post. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

Aura and virtual items

Aura is a virtual points system with no monetary value. It cannot be purchased with, redeemed for, or exchanged into real currency, and is not property. Virtual items, cosmetics, and titles are licenses to use features of the site, not goods. We may adjust, grant, or revoke Aura and virtual items to correct errors, address abuse, or rebalance site systems, and Aura balances are forfeited when an account is terminated for violating these terms.

Giveaways

Giveaways are open to registered members where lawful and are void where prohibited. Entry uses Aura, which is earned free through site participation; no purchase is necessary and no payment is accepted for entries. Winners are drawn as described on each giveaway, prizes have no cash-equivalent alternative, and we may disqualify entries that violate these terms. Giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any game platform or publisher unless expressly stated.

Our content and third parties

Site content we create, including articles, reviews, scores, designs, and branding, is protected by intellectual property law and may not be republished at scale without permission; quoting with attribution and linking is welcome. The site links to third-party sites and stores we do not control and are not responsible for.

Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Allrogues and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination and governing law

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the site or request account deletion at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located there unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Editorial process and AI assistance

Allrogues uses AI-assisted tools for news gathering: monitoring developer announcements, Steam updates, and community sources, and preparing research and source material for our editors. Editorial decisions, what we cover, what the facts are, and what the article says, are made by people. Editors select stories, verify claims against first-party sources, and write the published piece. No article is published without human editorial control, and reviews and opinion content are always written by a person based on firsthand experience. When we get something wrong, we correct the article and note the change. Errors can be reported through our contact page.
