Astronarch is a tactical roguelite autobattler that rewards careful planning more than lightning-fast reactions. Instead of controlling your heroes during battle, you’ll recruit a party, position them on the battlefield, and let every encounter unfold automatically. The challenge comes from building a team whose abilities work together, because the difference between an effortless victory and a complete collapse often comes down to the decisions you made before the fighting even started.
Every journey takes you across a different path through the realm, with changing enemies, bosses, events, and opportunities to strengthen your party. One expedition might hand you the perfect collection of heroes and magical items, while the next forces you to rethink your strategy from the very beginning. With new routes to explore and countless party combinations to experiment with, every run encourages a different approach.
What Makes It Different?
- Party-based autobattler combat built around positioning and preparation
- 21 unique heroes to unlock, each encouraging different strategies
- Over 130 magical items that alter your party’s stats and abilities
- Dynamic world maps with branching paths through three subareas in every act
- More than 100 combat encounters, including elite enemies and bosses
- Over 30 map events that can change the course of a run
- 20 Corruption modifiers to unlock after your first victory for an extra challenge
How It Plays
Every run begins by choosing a hero before recruiting companions to build a full party. Battles take place automatically, so your focus stays on assembling a team whose abilities complement one another and positioning them where they’ll be most effective. Some heroes excel on the front line, others perform best from a distance, and finding the right balance is just as important as choosing who joins your expedition.
As you travel through each act, you’ll choose your route across branching paths, deciding which encounters, events, and bosses are worth the risk. Magical items steadily transform your heroes, letting you lean into their strengths or completely change the role they play within your party. A fragile spellcaster can become surprisingly durable, while a dependable tank might evolve into something far more aggressive depending on the equipment you uncover.
Winning a run is only the beginning. Clearing the game unlocks Corruption levels that introduce increasingly difficult modifiers, giving experienced players new ways to test their favourite strategies. Between the changing maps, unlockable heroes, huge item pool, and different party combinations, Astronarch is the kind of autobattler that keeps rewarding experimentation long after your first successful expedition.
