A promising guild rarely begins with the perfect collection of heroes. More often, it starts with a few mismatched recruits, an awkward selection of relics, and the hope that something useful will emerge before the next wave arrives. Guildrun makes that uncertainty the centre of every run, challenging you to turn whatever the game offers into a team capable of surviving increasingly dangerous rifts.

Cities across the world are being torn apart by those rifts, leaving your guild to fight back while searching for whatever caused the crisis. Battles unfold automatically, but almost everything surrounding them is yours to shape. Heroes can be levelled, specialised, equipped, and pushed far beyond the roles they were originally designed to fill, creating parties that can look completely different by the end of a run.

What Makes It Different?

  • Build a guild from 25 heroes, each with multiple specialisation paths
  • Reshape characters beyond their starting roles, turning healers into tanks or ranged fighters into melee bruisers
  • Experiment with 180 specialisations, more than 300 relics, and over 100 items in the current demo
  • Adapt to random offers rather than relying on one fixed strategy
  • Combine heroes through unusual relationships, including battlefield bonuses for pairing lovers
  • Play without timers, queues, or PvP pressure, with the option to save during a run
  • Climb through eight difficulty levels before testing your strongest teams in Endless mode

Your Heroes Are Only a Starting Point

The most interesting part of Guildrun is how little a hero’s opening class ultimately decides. Each recruit arrives with a familiar role and ability, but levelling choices and modifiers can gradually pull them in a completely different direction. A support character might end up holding the frontline together, while a ranged attacker can be rebuilt around close-quarters damage. With modifiers stacking across classes, the challenge lies in spotting what your current group could become rather than searching for one predetermined composition.

That flexibility makes adapting mid-run especially important. You cannot guarantee which heroes, relics, or items will appear, so even a rough beginning can become something powerful when the right pieces finally connect. There is no competitive meta pushing you towards a handful of approved builds either, leaving you free to experiment, respec your heroes, and create combinations that would probably be far too unreasonable in a PvP autobattler.

Good If You Like…

Players who enjoy The Last Flame, Astronarch, or Tales & Tactics should find plenty to enjoy in Guildrun’s flexible hero building, automated battles, and emphasis on transforming an imperfect party into something wildly overpowered.
