Chrono Ark

Lucy wakes beneath the Ark with almost no memory of how she got there, but the message left behind is clear: gather the scattered Time Shades and restart the Clock Tower before the Twisted World is lost for good. Chrono Ark turns that journey into a party-based deckbuilding roguelike where every character you recruit adds new cards, mechanics, and possibilities to your growing team.

You can bring up to four Investigators into battle, combining their skills into a single deck rather than controlling each hero through a traditional RPG command menu. That gives every run two layers of strategy at once. You are not only deciding which cards belong in the deck, but also which characters can support one another well enough to survive the increasingly dangerous path ahead.

How It Plays

Each run sends Lucy and her Investigation Team through the Twisted Land in search of the Time Shades needed to reactivate the Clock Tower. Battles are turn-based, with every skill and perk appearing as a card in your deck. Recruiting a new character changes more than your party lineup, since their abilities become part of the same card pool and can create entirely new combinations with the rest of the team.

Losing a run resets the party’s immediate progress, but repeated attempts reveal more characters, cards, items, relics, events, and strategic options. With 20 Investigators to recruit and plenty of ways to customize their skills, much of the replayability comes from experimenting with different team compositions and learning how their strengths can cover one another’s weaknesses.
