A nameless child wakes up in an underground subway line with no memories, just a vague sense of purpose and a distant clocktower calling from somewhere above. Reaching it means climbing higher, fighting harder, and trading a piece of yourself for every bit of power gained along the way.

Revita is a fast-paced twin-stick roguelite platformer from developer BenStar. Harvesting and sacrificing souls to grow stronger, exchanging health for power in glass cannon combat, and battling through procedurally generated encounter rooms, you’ll climb an ominous clocktower in search of lost memories and the answers waiting at the top.

What Makes It Different?

  • Trade health for power in fast-paced, glass cannon gameplay
  • Battle through an almost infinite variety of procedurally generated combat rooms
  • Master twin-stick shooting, dashing, and wall sliding as core movement tools
  • Harvest and sacrifice souls to grow stronger with every attempt
  • Discover power-ups and items that upgrade your arsenal each run
  • Explore an underground subway filled with colorful, masked characters
  • Tweak the experience with extensive accessibility and difficulty options

Power Always Comes at a Cost

Revita’s core loop revolves around a simple but tense trade-off: sacrificing health for genuine power. Every soul harvested and sacrificed pushes a build further, but overcommitting can leave a run one hit away from disaster. Finding the right balance between attack and defense becomes the real skill being tested, and knowing when to hold back versus when to push a build further apart is what separates a short climb from a real shot at the top.

A Clocktower Worth Climbing

Traveling from station to station on the way up, Revita fills its world with melancholic, masked characters who help shape the journey, even as procedurally generated rooms keep combat feeling fresh across dozens of attempts. Twin-stick shooting, dashing, and wall sliding all come together into fast, responsive movement, and stacking power-ups and items collected along the way keeps every run building toward something a little stronger than the last.

How Long Does a Run Take?

The average run length for a standard playthrough is about 30 to 40 minutes. A standard run to the final boss typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on pace and how much exploring is done, while early deaths in the first few biomes can end a run in 5 to 20 minutes. A full 100% run, including deep late-game areas, can push past 50 minutes.

Controller Support

Revita features Full Controller Support for Xbox Controllers. Support for other devices is not known.

Good If You Like…

If you enjoyed The Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon, or Downwell, Revita’s mix of twin-stick combat and glass cannon roguelite risk should feel right at home.
