One Step From Eden is a fast hybrid of real-time action and deckbuilding roguelike, heavily inspired by Mega Man Battle Network and Slay the Spire. Players move on a grid while casting spells from a customizable deck of over 200 options, dodging enemy attack patterns in bullet-hell fashion. Each run, players build a unique deck around synergies like frost, poison, and fragile, choosing a path of mercy or destruction toward Eden. Multiple characters, evolving enemies, and procedurally generated stages keep runs varied. It supports solo play plus local co-op and PvP. The blend of twitch action and on-the-fly deckbuilding is its signature.
