NUTMEG! A Nostalgic Deckbuilding Football Manager is a football management sim from developer Sumo Digital, built around a fast paced card battler at its core. Picking your lineup and formation, earning card packs, and combining cards to strengthen your deck, you’ll take on rival teams match by match, all while running the club from behind the desk between fixtures.

Card packs earned by completing challenges give you more tools to work with, and combining those cards to strengthen your deck over a season is central to competing at the top of your Division. Training between matches adds another layer, letting you sharpen tactical approaches like route one football, tiki taka, or counter attacking to earn extra card packs and give yourself an edge on matchday.

Run the Whole Club, Not Just the Team

Beyond the pitch, NUTMEG! puts the entire club in your hands. Balancing finances, handling the press, and deciding who to hire or fire in the backroom all fall under your control, alongside scouting and developing the next generation of youth talent. Choosing whether to chase glory as a journeyman manager hopping between clubs, or dig in and become a one club hero, shapes the overall story of your career as much as anything that happens during a match.

How Long Does a Run Take?

The average run length of a single season is approximately 60 to 90 minutes of real time play. Seasons typically consist of 50 matches, but to keep the pace brisk, 4 out of 5 matches are simulated automatically, while you actively play and manage the remaining broadcasted matches. Because of the roguelite nature of the game, a run can end prematurely if you’re relegated or fired, which immediately resets your progress.
