Some legends are remembered for generations, others disappear almost as quickly as they’re created. Moon Hunters follows a five-day journey where the choices you make, the people you help, and the way you face each challenge shape not only your adventure, but the legend that’s left behind once it’s over.

Every run sends you across a procedurally generated world filled with villages, ancient ruins, monsters, and mysteries. Along the way you’ll battle enemies in real-time, discover relics and abilities, and make decisions that influence how the world remembers your character. No two legends unfold in quite the same way, giving every adventure its own personality.

What Makes It Different?

  • Complete a full adventure across a five-day journey
  • Build your legend through the choices you make
  • Explore a procedurally generated world each run
  • Unlock new abilities and discover powerful relics
  • Play solo or with up to four players in co-op
  • Meet memorable characters and uncover ancient myths
  • Every playthrough contributes to the game’s evolving lore

Your Choices Become Your Legacy

The decisions you make don’t simply change the next encounter—they help define your character’s legend. The people you meet, the problems you choose to solve, and even the way you behave all influence how your story is remembered once the journey comes to an end.

That gives every run a distinct identity. Instead of simply chasing the strongest build, you’re also shaping the kind of hero your character becomes.

Five Days, Countless Possibilities

The built-in five-day limit keeps every adventure focused without making it feel rushed. You can only travel to one region each day, so deciding where to go next becomes just as important as preparing for the battles waiting there.

Because the world changes from one run to the next, returning for another adventure often reveals different events, characters, and opportunities that you may never have encountered before.

Better Together Around the Campfire

Moon Hunters works just as well with friends as it does solo. Playing cooperatively introduces another layer of decision-making, from discussing upgrades at campfires to coordinating your approach as you explore the world together.

Those shared moments make every adventure feel a little different, turning each run into a story that’s just as enjoyable to talk about afterwards as it was to play.

How Long Does a Run Take?

A typical run in Moon Hunters lasts around 45 to 90 minutes, with most straightforward playthroughs taking about 1 hour. Rushing through the adventure can shorten a run to roughly 30 minutes, while taking time to explore, speak with villagers, and uncover optional areas can extend it beyond 90 minutes. Every run takes place across a five-day in-game journey.

Controller Support

Moon Hunters offers full controller support, including Xbox controllers.

Good If You Like…

If you enjoyed Children of Morta, Rogue Heroes: Ruins of Tasos, For the King, and Wizard of Legend, Moon Hunters offers a similarly rewarding mix of cooperative adventures, procedural worlds, and highly replayable runs where every journey tells a different story.
