Killer Bean
Every run in Killer Bean puts you in control of a rogue assassin coffee bean switching freely between first-person and third-person perspectives as you shoot, dodge, and brawl through procedurally generated islands. The game is built around action combat with ragdoll physics, destructible enemies, and a variety of weapons whose skills are randomized each run, so no two attempts play out the same way.
The campaign follows Killer Bean’s vendetta against the Shadow Agency after a betrayal exposes their true nature. Beyond the story missions, three additional modes expand the experience: The Party tasks you with shutting down noise-violating dance gatherings, Battle Arena throws endless enemy waves at you for pure combat stress-testing, and Conquest lets you fight alongside the Bad Beans faction in an island-wide struggle against the Mercenaries. Four factions in total populate the world — Bad Beans, Mercenaries, Pirate Commandos, and Shadow Troops — and each of the four biomes carries its own wildlife alongside the human-shaped opposition. Eight bosses and mini-bosses punctuate progression, and enemy forces field vehicles, aircraft, and mechs rather than arriving purely on foot.

- Randomized weapon skills altering combat options each run
- Four game modes: Campaign, The Party, Battle Arena, and Conquest
- Four factions with their own enemy types, plus vehicles, aircraft, and mechs
- Ragdoll and physics-driven combat throughout
Killer Bean Studios LLC launched the game on June 8, 2026. The weeks immediately following release were dense with patches: the studio pushed more than a dozen updates in June alone, addressing a black-screen freeze, audio slider resets, enemy vision errors, mouse control regressions that forced a version rollback, and a soft-lock in the first campaign mission. A notable design shift also arrived in that first month — permadeath was removed and the save system was overhauled. By July, patches had moved on to fixing a death-freeze bug and expanding first-person dive mechanics. The Early Access roadmap lists online co-op, character customization, additional missions, full campaign randomization, and a second playable character, Jet Bean, as planned additions.
Players who grew up with the Killer Bean animated series will find the transition to interactive form immediately legible, but the game also suits anyone drawn to fast, physics-forward third-person shooters who doesn’t mind the rougher edges that come with an actively developed early release.
