Dragon Eclipse
The Eclipse is closing in, and time to prepare is running out fast. Assembling a team of magical Mystlings, drafting a deck of powerful cards, and pushing back the encroaching evil means making every decision count before darkness falls over the whole map.
Dragon Eclipse is a roguelite deckbuilder with an auto-battler twist from developer Fardust, published by Awaken Realms. Choosing a Tamer with a distinct playstyle, building a team of three Mystlings, and crafting a deck full of synergistic combos, you’ll battle fierce foes as your creatures level up, evolve, and grow into fearsome allies under your guidance.
What Makes It Different?
- Combine auto-battler mechanics with deckbuilding strategy in a single, unified system
- Choose from multiple Tamers, each with a distinct playstyle and specialization
- Build a team of three Mystlings, each with unique stats, abilities, and a starting card
- Watch Mystlings level up and evolve during combat, gaining powerful new abilities
- Acquire new cards from battles, encounters, and a variety of other sources
- Race the approaching Eclipse, which limits how much of the map can be explored
- Unlock new Mystlings, cards, and tougher difficulty levels with every run
Creatures That Grow With Every Fight
Mystlings are the heart of Dragon Eclipse’s strategy. Sweet and unassuming at first, they level up and evolve during combat, unlocking new abilities and transforming into genuinely fearsome allies the more they’re guided along the way. Since every Mystling brings its own stats, abilities, and a starting card into the deck, balancing a team of three means weighing raw power against how well their abilities mesh with a Tamer’s chosen strategy and the cards being collected.
A Clock That Won’t Stop Ticking
The approaching Eclipse adds a constant layer of pressure to every run. Not the whole map can be explored, which means choosing which paths to take, which fights to pick, and which resources to chase becomes a genuine strategic decision rather than a simple checklist. Every card acquired, every battle fought, and every character met along the way contributes to a deck tailored to a specific combat preference, and deciding how to spend limited time before the Eclipse arrives is central to securing victory.
How Long Does a Run Take?
An individual successful run averages roughly 30 to 45 minutes. The game is designed with a strict Doomsday Clock system, meaning time to prepare is mechanically capped, with a fixed countdown of actions to explore, hatch eggs, and draft cards. Runs are limited to 10 standard battles to level up a team before being forced into the final boss fight.
Controller Support
Dragon Eclipse features Full Controller Support for Xbox Controllers and PlayStation Controllers.
Good If You Like…
If you enjoyed Montabi, Isle of Swaps, or Wildfrost, Dragon Eclipse’s mix of creature collecting and auto-battler deckbuilding should be well worth a look.
