In Choo Choo Survivor your locomotive is both your transport and your greatest weapon. The fast-paced roguelite challenges you to drive straight through hordes of zombies. As the undead swarm from every direction, you’ll steer along the tracks, mow down anything in your path, and continuously upgrade your train with new weapons and defensive equipment in an effort to reach the end of the line.
The idea is to survive increasingly dangerous waves while collecting experience, choosing upgrades, and adapting your build to whatever the game throws at you. New weapons, passive abilities, and train improvements create plenty of opportunities to experiment, while permanent unlocks ensure each failed attempt brings you a little closer to making the next expedition a successful one.

Your Train Is Your Build
In Choo Choo Survivor, your train isn’t simply the vehicle carrying you through the apocalypse, it’s the foundation of every build you create. Each run gradually transforms your locomotive through new weapons, defensive upgrades, and passive improvements that determine how effectively you can survive the ever-growing zombie hordes.
Some upgrades improve your firepower, while others increase survivability or make resource collection more efficient. Deciding which improvements complement one another quickly becomes just as important as avoiding the enemies themselves.
Every Mile Gets More Dangerous
The tracks may only lead in one direction, but the challenge rarely stays predictable. Zombie numbers continue to increase as the run progresses, introducing tougher enemy types and eventually leading to large-scale boss encounters that demand far more than simply spraying bullets in every direction.
As upgrades are offered randomly throughout each run, adapting to what appears is a key part of surviving. No two journeys develop in exactly the same way, encouraging experimentation with different weapons, locomotives, and upgrade combinations.

How Long Does a Run Take?
A standard run in Choo Choo Survivor typically lasts 30-35 minutes. Reaching the end of the line takes around 30 minutes, followed by a final five-minute challenge wave that serves as the run’s finale. If you’re aiming for specific achievements or experimenting with individual strategies, shorter sessions of 10 minutes or less are also possible.
Controller Support
Choo Choo Survivor doesn’t currently specify controller support, so keyboard and mouse should be considered the primary way to play unless controller compatibility is confirmed by the developer.
