ZrOth Launches Today And Hands You A Kingdom Full Of Problems

Every decision in ZrOth comes with a price tag. Expand too aggressively and you’ll run short on resources. Play too cautiously and you may struggle to keep up with the growing demands placed on your kingdom.

Launching today on Steam, the new roguelite from Geloz Games turns resource management into a constant balancing act as players attempt to grow a thriving settlement while keeping an increasingly demanding tribute collector satisfied.

At the heart of the experience are three resources, wood, gold, and villagers. Each is essential for growing your kingdom, but every expansion comes with a trade-off. Wood is needed for construction, gold funds upgrades, and villagers help claim new territory. The challenge comes from deciding where those resources are most valuable at any given moment.

As players expand across the map, they’ll encounter forests, mines, villages, and other locations that generate resources through their own unique mechanics. Finding effective combinations and balancing short-term survival against long-term growth becomes a key part of each run.

ZrOth also introduces a relic system that encourages careful planning rather than endless accumulation. Powerful relics provide passive bonuses to your kingdom, but limited inventory space means every choice matters. Different biomes further shake up strategy by offering both benefits and new dangers as you push deeper into the world.

With unlockable effects, additional environments, and new strategies waiting to be discovered after each defeat, the game aims to deliver the kind of replayability roguelite fans keep coming back for.

The game launches today at a limited discount price until June 30th on Steam, and includes a playable demo for those looking to test their kingdom-building skills before committing to a full campaign.
