Bounty of One
Bounty of One is a survivors-like action roguelite where you play as a wanted outlaw fleeing across the Wild West after being falsely declared a criminal. Every run begins with little more than a revolver, but surviving the relentless waves of bounty hunters, outlaws, and supernatural threats quickly turns your lone gunslinger into an unstoppable force. As enemies fall, you’ll collect experience, choose new upgrades, and prepare for increasingly dangerous boss encounters before the next wave arrives.
No two runs develop in quite the same way. Passive upgrades, weapons, and character abilities can be combined into a wide variety of builds, while multiple playable characters each bring their own starting weapon and unique skill to the battlefield. Whether you focus on overwhelming enemies with ricocheting bullets, devastating critical hits, or entirely different upgrade combinations, every run encourages experimenting with new synergies as you try to survive a little longer than before.

Build an Outlaw Your Way
Every level-up presents another opportunity to shape your run. Rather than following a fixed progression path, you’ll choose from a selection of randomized upgrades that gradually define how your outlaw fights. Some improve your damage output, others increase survivability, while certain combinations can completely change the way your build performs.
Different playable characters add even more variety by starting each run with their own weapon and unique ability. Learning which upgrades complement those strengths becomes an important part of surviving the increasingly dangerous waves ahead.
Survive the Growing Horde
The longer you stay alive, the more dangerous the battlefield becomes. Enemies arrive in ever larger numbers before powerful bosses appear at set intervals, testing whether your build has kept pace with the increasing difficulty.
Because attacks fire automatically, the focus shifts toward movement and positioning. Staying alive depends on weaving through enemy formations, collecting experience safely, and knowing when to take risks for valuable upgrades before the battlefield becomes overwhelmed.
Ride Alone or Bring a Posse
Although Bounty of One works perfectly as a solo experience, it also supports online co-op for up to four players. Each player develops their own build throughout the run, creating opportunities to combine different upgrade paths and character abilities while fighting through the growing horde together.
Whether you’re experimenting with new characters or chasing stronger upgrade combinations, the game’s short run structure makes it easy to jump straight back into another attempt.
How Long Does a Run Take?
A standard run in Bounty of One typically lasts 15 to 20 minutes, making it well suited to shorter play sessions. Faster players or those tackling quicker game modes can often finish successful runs in 10 minutes or less. Reaching the main ending generally takes around 5½ hours across multiple attempts, while completing everything the game has to offer can take considerably longer.
Controller Support
Bounty of One offers full controller support for Xbox controllers. Support for other controller types has not been officially specified.
Good If You Like…
Players who enjoy Brotato, Vampire Survivors, Soulstone Survivors, or Rogue: Genesia should appreciate Bounty of One’s fast-paced runs, where every level-up presents another opportunity to transform a simple gunslinger into an increasingly absurd bullet-firing powerhouse.
