The labyrinth is yours this time. Instead of fighting your way through a maze in search of the Minotaur, MINOS casts you as the monster itself, turning every run into a deadly game of preparation, adaptation, and defense. Before the first hero even steps inside, you’ll be reshaping corridors, placing traps, and deciding exactly how you want your next wave of intruders to meet their end.

MINOS is a maze-building roguelite where you defend your sanctuary against increasingly determined adventurers. Every run introduces new traps, enemies, and opportunities to redesign your labyrinth, while permanent progression encourages you to experiment with different layouts and strategies across repeated attempts. You won’t simply react to each invasion—you’ll be the one creating the battlefield before the fighting even begins.

What Makes It Different?

  • Play as the legendary Minotaur defending your own labyrinth
  • Design and redesign maze layouts before every invasion
  • Use traps, shifting passages, and clever routing to eliminate heroes
  • Combine direct combat with strategic maze building
  • Adapt your defenses as new enemy types appear
  • Unlock permanent progression between runs
  • Every labyrinth evolves differently through randomized roguelite progression

Every Corridor Has a Purpose

Success begins long before the fighting starts. Walls, gates, and corridors can all be repositioned to shape how invading heroes move through the maze, giving you complete control over the routes they take and the traps they encounter along the way.

Of course, even the best plan rarely survives contact with the enemy. New hero types and changing wave compositions constantly force you to rethink your defenses, making flexibility just as important as building the perfect labyrinth.

More Than a Tower of Traps

Your defenses do plenty of the work, but you won’t spend every battle watching from a distance. As the Minotaur, you’re free to join the fight yourself, cleaning up survivors or stepping in when your carefully planned defenses aren’t quite enough.

That combination of strategic planning and hands-on combat keeps every run engaging. Building an efficient maze is satisfying, but watching it unfold while choosing exactly when to intervene is what gives MINOS its distinctive rhythm.

Every Run Teaches a Better Design

Each defeat offers another opportunity to rethink your approach. A different corridor, another trap placement, or a new way of dividing enemy groups can completely change how a run unfolds.

Because the labyrinth itself is always part of your strategy, improving isn’t just about unlocking stronger upgrades. It’s also about becoming a better architect, gradually learning how to turn every new maze into a deadlier home for the Minotaur.

How Long Does a Run Take?

A typical run in MINOS lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, although early attempts can finish in as little as 15 to 20 minutes. Longer runs depend on how deep you progress, how much time you spend designing your labyrinth, and how carefully you plan each wave of invading heroes.

Controller Support

MINOS offers full controller support for Xbox and PlayStation controllers.

Good If You Like…

If you enjoyed Legend of Keepers, Dungeon of the ENDLESS, The Last Spell, and KeeperRL, MINOS offers a similarly satisfying mix of defending against waves, carefully planning your strategy, and adapting your base to survive increasingly difficult invasions.
