There’s never enough time to clear out every tunnel. Every trip into the wall is a balancing act between digging a little deeper for better resources and getting back to your robospider before the next wave of enemies arrives. The longer you stay underground, the more you’ll uncover, but waiting too long can leave your mobile base fighting for survival without you.
Wall World 2 builds on the original’s combination of mining, base defense, and roguelite progression. You’ll travel across the enormous Wall in your robospider, drilling into procedurally generated mines to gather resources, discover new technologies, and uncover hidden points of interest before returning to defend yourself against increasingly dangerous attacks. Between runs, permanent upgrades allow you to improve both your pilot and your machine, opening the way to deeper expeditions and tougher challenges.
What Makes It Different?
- Explore procedurally generated mines hidden throughout the Wall
- Mine valuable resources to upgrade your robospider and equipment
- Defend your mobile base from increasingly dangerous enemy waves
- Unlock permanent upgrades between runs
- Discover hidden locations, technologies, and secrets beneath the surface
- Use tools like the delay device to extend mining expeditions
- Push deeper into the Wall as new abilities open previously inaccessible areas
Mining Against the Clock
Every expedition begins with a simple decision: how much longer can you afford to stay underground? The mines are filled with resources and upgrades, but enemy attacks continue to build while you’re exploring. Returning to your robospider at the right moment is often just as important as what you bring back.
As you unlock better equipment, those expeditions become more ambitious. New tools allow you to mine faster, reach greater depths, and make better use of the limited time available before another defense begins.
A Stronger Robospider Every Run
Resources gathered during expeditions are used to improve both your pilot and the robospider itself. Stronger weapons, improved mining equipment, and new technologies gradually make future runs more manageable, allowing you to survive tougher attacks and explore areas that were previously out of reach.
That steady progression encourages you to keep pushing further into the Wall, even if a particular run ends sooner than planned.
One Wall, Countless Expeditions
Although every run follows the same loop of mining and defending, the procedurally generated mines ensure each expedition develops differently. Hidden locations, changing layouts, and different upgrade paths mean you’ll rarely approach two runs in exactly the same way.
The result is a roguelite that’s just as much about planning your next descent as it is surviving the battles waiting outside.
How Long Does a Run Take?
A typical run in Wall World 2 lasts 30 to 60 minutes, although making full use of tools like the delay device and spending longer underground can push individual runs beyond an hour. Completing the main story takes around 14.5 hours, while completionists can expect to spend roughly 50 hours uncovering everything the game has to offer.
