The battlefield never stays quiet for long when every victory leads straight into the next cosmic trial. Trials Survivors keeps the pace moving with short, objective-based rounds that constantly introduce fresh enemies, new upgrades, and another chance to turn a modest build into something capable of clearing the challenges still ahead.
Trials Survivors is a survivors-like roguelite where you’ll battle through a series of fast-paced encounters while collecting spells, discovering powerful synergies, and evolving your abilities over the course of a run. Every completed trial brings you closer to stronger builds, tougher enemies, and the opportunity to see just how far your character can go.
What Makes It Different?
- Complete short objective-based trials across each run
- Build powerful spell combinations and synergies
- Evolve your abilities as you progress
- Battle through a series of cosmic-themed encounters
- Face increasingly dangerous enemy waves
- Take on Endless Mode after mastering the standard challenges
- Designed for both quick sessions and longer survival runs
Every Trial Builds on the Last
Rather than dropping you into one long uninterrupted battle, Trials Survivors breaks each run into a series of compact objectives. That structure gives every stage its own identity while still maintaining the satisfying feeling of gradually becoming more powerful.
There’s very little downtime between encounters, either. As soon as one challenge is complete, the next is already waiting, encouraging you to make the most of every upgrade before moving on.
Finding the Right Synergy
The real fun begins once your abilities start working together. New spells and evolutions steadily expand your options, giving you plenty of opportunities to experiment as your build develops throughout a run.
Not every combination unfolds the same way, and that’s part of the appeal. Some attempts come together quickly, while others ask you to adapt around the choices you’ve been given as the trials become increasingly demanding.
Easy to Jump Into, Hard to Walk Away From
The shorter structure makes Trials Survivors particularly easy to fit into a busy day. Standard runs are long enough to feel rewarding without demanding a huge time commitment, while Endless Mode offers experienced players the chance to keep pushing a successful build for much longer.
That flexibility gives the game an enjoyable rhythm. Whether you’re chasing a quick victory or seeing how long you can survive, it’s always tempting to dive into another run.
How Long Does a Run Take?
A typical run in Trials Survivors lasts around 15 to 30 minutes, with individual objective-based trials taking roughly 2 to 4 minutes each. Faster runs can be completed in 10 to 15 minutes, while Endless Mode can stretch beyond 45 minutes depending on how long your build survives.
Controller Support
Trials Survivors offers full controller support for Xbox and DualSense controllers.
Good If You Like…
If you enjoyed Soulstone Survivors, Death Must Die, Rogue: Genesia, and Vampire Survivors, Trials Survivors offers a similar focus on building powerful ability combinations, discovering satisfying synergies, and steadily growing stronger as each run unfolds.
