Sculplings
Every monster in this world was sculpted by hand in real clay, and every one of them wants a shot at becoming Champion. Gathering a team of the strangest creatures you can find, then fighting your way to the Champion’s Arena, is the only path to the top.
Sculplings is a creature-collecting roguelike from developers Conor Garity and Liam Kerrigan, mashing up traditional monster fighters with roguelike runs. Collecting and battling a random assortment of hand-sculpted monsters, choosing between randomized paths and zones, and equipping passive Pins for an extra edge, you’ll build a team capable of beating the Sculpling Champions and claiming the number one spot.

A World Made of Clay
The most striking thing about Sculplings is how it looks. Every monster, every item, and every blade of grass was sculpted by hand and scanned into the game, with over 300 sculptures made so far and more on the way, which gives the whole world a tactile, handmade charm you don’t see in most monster battlers. That commitment to craft extends to the creatures themselves, each of the 100 or more monsters bringing its own strategy and playstyle to a fight. It’s a small team’s labor of love, and it shows in how distinctive everything feels.
Build a Team, Pick a Path
Combat follows the traditional monster-battler formula, where a variety of monster types and moves must be used smartly to win, but the roguelike structure keeps every run unpredictable. Each run features a new set of randomized paths, and strategically choosing which to follow, and which zones to enter, determines which Sculplings you’ll get the chance to capture. Pins collected during a run add passive benefits on top of that, so the balance between the monsters on your team and the items you pick up could be the key to victory. Figuring out which combination of creatures and Pins gives the best shot at reaching the Champion’s Arena is where most of the strategy lives.
How Long Does a Run Take?
On average, it takes about 5 hours to finish the main story. An individual run that ends early due to a loss usually lasts anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes, heavily depending on how deep you make it into the biomes. Because it’s a creature-collecting roguelike, run times scale with progression, and dying in the initial tutorial zones or the first area typically takes 5 to 10 minutes.
