Returnal™

Returnal is a third-person shooter roguelike from Housemarque in which the astronaut Selene is trapped in a time loop on a hostile alien planet, reliving her death again and again. Combat is fast and bullet-hell-inspired, with weapons, alien artifacts, and parasites collected and lost across each cycle. The atmospheric, psychological narrative unfolds gradually as Selene confronts the planet’s mysteries and her own past. High production values and tense, skill-demanding combat earned it acclaim as a premium roguelike. An optional co-op mode lets two players share the journey. Breaking the cycle by surviving each shifting run is the central goal.
