We move forward. We aim to progress. There’s no time to look back, no room for mistakes, only the idol demanding to be filled and the exit somewhere up ahead.

Post Void is a challenging, arcade-style first-person shooter from developer YCJY Games, built around a single guiding principle: be fast. Sprinting through hypnotic, procedurally generated levels, keeping your idol topped up with kills, and racing to reach the end before everything falls apart, you’ll fight for a high score and the sheer thrill of making it out the other side.

What Makes It Different?

  • Race through hypnotic, early-FPS-inspired levels built for pure speed
  • Keep your idol filled with liquid by racking up kills along the way
  • Explore procedurally generated stages that shift a little with every run
  • Compete on global leaderboards for the fastest, highest-scoring runs
  • Push through 3 increasingly intense Acts on the way to the end
  • Soak in a surreal, retro pixel aesthetic unlike almost anything else on Steam
  • Chase 7 Steam achievements that reward mastering the chaos

Speed Is the Only Rule

Post Void doesn’t waste time on subtlety. Every level exists to be blitzed through as fast as possible, and hesitating for even a moment can mean running dry before reaching safety. That relentless pace gives the game its hypnotic, almost trance-like rhythm, turning each short burst of play into something closer to a fever dream than a traditional shooter.

A New Nightmare Every Run

Because levels are procedurally generated, no single run through Post Void plays out exactly the same way twice. That unpredictability keeps even a familiar Act feeling fresh, and chasing a better spot on the global leaderboards gives seasoned players a reason to keep diving back in long after the first successful run.

How Long Does a Run Take?

A single, successful run typically takes about 5 to 10 minutes to complete. However, because of its punishing roguelite difficulty, the average time to beat the main game is closer to 1.5 hours. A flawless playthrough takes about 5-10 minutes if you can survive all 11 stages without dying, with each level meant to be blitzed through in roughly 20 to 30 seconds. Earning 100% completion generally takes most players about 2 hours.

Controller Support

Post Void features Full Controller Support for Xbox Controllers. Support for other devices is not known.

Good If You Like…

Downwell and Buckshot Roulette both share shelf space with Post Void in bundles, and for good reason, given their similarly tight, high-stakes roguelite design. ROBOBEAT is also worth a look if Post Void’s speed-focused shooting is what’s drawing you in.
