HoloCure – Save the Fans! is a free fan-made survivors-like starring the virtual YouTuber talents of Hololive. Players pick a favorite Vtuber and fight through armies of mind-controlled fans, surviving waves while collecting weapons and upgrades. Built as a love letter to the Hololive community, it is packed with references, cameos, and in-jokes for fans. The gameplay closely follows the Vampire Survivors mold, with auto-attacks and snowballing builds. Despite being a free unofficial fan game, it became remarkably polished and popular. Its huge roster of idol characters drives much of its appeal.
