Galactic Vault
Galactic Vault casts you as a former VOLT operative cracking open corporate vaults in a tech-hoarding future, then immediately hands you a modular weapon and asks you to survive long enough to fill it out. MeepMeep Games built the run structure around real-time gun construction: muzzles, scopes, magazines, and charms stack onto your weapon mid-run, and the right combinations trigger elemental combos and cascading effects that can turn a serviceable firearm into something absurd by the third vault. Underbarrel launchers add a second damage layer on top, and grenades introduced in the April 1.2.0 update expanded the offensive toolkit further.
Movement is treated as a combat resource rather than a convenience. Rooms are hand-crafted with verticality in mind, and sliding, dashing, and sprinting are expected to be chained continuously against surveillance drones, armored tanks, and brainwashed enemies. Multi-stage Vault Captains serve as the run’s pressure points, each demanding consistent execution rather than stat-checking. The game lands toward the punishing end of the spectrum — synergy-hunting is rewarding precisely because the enemy roster punishes passive play.
Between runs, players unlock additional weapons, playable characters, and skill trees that reshape subsequent attempts without trivializing the in-run decisions.

- Grenade system and expanded enemy types added post-launch
- Infestation mode: hazard-filled infected rooms, mutated enemies, and an experimental weapon
- Multi-stage Vault Captains as milestone boss encounters
- Unlockable characters and skill trees that persist across runs
Galactic Vault released on March 10, 2026, and MeepMeep Games maintained a dense patch cadence through April and May, pushing hotfixes and balance updates through version 1.2.7. The Infestation Update arrived in June, adding the infected room type, mutated enemy variants, and a new weapon class as free content. Patches v1.3.1 through v1.3.3 followed in June and July, indicating ongoing refinement well past launch.
