Prismfall strips wave defence back to its essentials. At the centre of every run is a single Prism that must survive an ever-growing assault, while you earn gold from defeated enemies and decide exactly how to invest it. Every purchase nudges your build in a different direction, whether that’s unlocking new offensive abilities, strengthening your economy for faster growth, or stacking passive upgrades that gradually turn an overwhelmed defence into an unstoppable one. It’s a game that rewards planning ahead just as much as reacting to the current wave.

Although each session is designed to be compact, no two runs develop in quite the same way. The order you unlock upgrades has a huge impact on your strategy, and later game modes expand those possibilities even further. Endless Mode challenges you to see how long your build can survive against increasingly absurd enemy waves, while Roguelite Mode introduces randomized upgrades, starting classes, and rare synergies that encourage a completely different approach every time you play.

What Makes It Different?

  • Defend a single Prism while building your strength through an extensive upgrade tree
  • Gold earned from defeated enemies can be invested however you choose, allowing different strategies to emerge naturally
  • Active abilities and passive upgrades combine to create a wide variety of powerful builds
  • Upgrade order matters, rewarding careful planning rather than simply buying everything available
  • Endless Mode pushes fully developed builds against increasingly difficult waves
  • Roguelite Mode introduces randomized upgrades, starting classes, rare upgrades, and new synergies each run
  • Designed as a shorter 5–6 hour experience while still offering extensive replayability through build optimisation and endless content

How It Plays

Every wave rewards you with more gold, creating a constant balancing act between surviving the next attack and investing in the future. You might prioritise powerful offensive abilities to clear enemies more quickly, build an economy that generates faster long-term growth, or focus on passive upgrades that steadily strengthen your Prism’s defences. There isn’t a single correct route through the upgrade tree, and discovering efficient upgrade paths becomes part of the challenge.

As enemy numbers continue to grow, small decisions made early in a run often have the biggest impact later on. Investing heavily in one area can create incredibly powerful combinations, while spreading upgrades too thin may leave your build struggling against tougher waves. Finding that balance between immediate survival and long-term scaling is what gives each run its strategic depth.

Progression Beyond Each Run

The full game expands well beyond its standard progression with two additional ways to play. Endless Mode is built around pushing completed builds as far as they can go while climbing the leaderboards, whereas Roguelite Mode reshuffles the experience through randomized upgrades, different starting classes, and opportunities to discover powerful new synergies. Together they give you plenty of reasons to revisit the upgrade tree and experiment with strategies that might never have emerged in a previous run.

Good If You Like…

If you enjoy Rogue Genesia, Time Wasters, Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok, or Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde, Prismfall offers another satisfying take on defending against overwhelming odds while gradually building something powerful enough to survive the next wave.
