The Scroll Of Taiwu Squashes More Than 50 Bugs In Major New Update

Nobody enjoys losing progress to a bug. Fortunately for The Scroll of Taiwu players, the latest update is focused almost entirely on making those kinds of headaches a thing of the past.

The new patch delivers more than 50 bug fixes across the game’s sprawling martial arts RPG, tackling everything from progression blockers and crashes to encounter issues, combat bugs, and interface improvements.

Some of the biggest fixes target major progression problems. Players can now continue the “Blood Tomb Legacy” regional storyline without getting stuck, while a crash caused by quitting encounters during overlapping events has also been resolved. The update also fixes a particularly serious issue that could corrupt disaster data, leading to save-loading problems and broken monthly progression for long-running saves.

Elsewhere, several gameplay systems have received attention. The “Manor Wine Gathering” event no longer allows unlimited sparring sessions, restrictions in the “Insect Grand Tournament” are now functioning correctly, and NPC doctors have remembered how to do their jobs by treating injuries as intended. The developers have also fixed an exploit that allowed preparation-phase items to be used during combat.

Outside of gameplay, the patch smooths out a variety of interface issues, including improvements to the mod manager, corrected dialogue and text display problems, cleaner menu interactions, and several smaller quality-of-life tweaks throughout the game.

For a simulation as deep and interconnected as The Scroll of Taiwu, updates like this often make the biggest difference.
