The Wait Is Over as Cozy Creature Collector Tamespire Launches Into Early Access Today

Great news for cozy game fans as Tamespire, the creature-collection roguelite deckbuilder from developer Icaro AH, has launched into early access today (July 7, 2026). The game combines roguelike tower-climbing with deck customization, built around taming creatures called Spirelings.

Available to purchase on Steam, you’ll recruit a team of three, teach them new moves, and fuse those abilities into a living deck that shifts with every run. The Spire itself regenerates each climb, reshaping paths, enemies, and rewards so no two ascents feel identical. Away from the core roguelite loop, the game layers in a five-element type wheel where Ember, Bloom, Tide, Volt, and Umbra each counter and fall to one another, inviting players to stack status effects into cascading combos.

Progression sticks between runs through a persistent Den where you’ll unlock upgrades, expand your roster, and set out stronger each time. For players who clear the Spire, Ascension difficulty layers pile on new rules and tougher fights, stretching the challenge as far as they want to push it. The developer’s Instagram account offers updates on the game’s development, and the full feature set includes controller support, Steam Cloud saves, and twenty achievements to chase.

Tamespire describes itself as a cozy world with a dark heart, and it’s available now with a limited time 20% discount.
