Hades Fans Can Watch Epic London Concert Live

Can’t make it to London for one of the year’s most ambitious video game music events? Supergiant Games is bringing Ballads of the Underworld straight to your screen.

The studio announced that its forthcoming Hades orchestral concert will stream live on Twitch on Saturday, June 27 at 1:30pm BST, 5:30am PDT, and 8:30am EST. The performance features composer Darren Korb alongside the London Mozart Players orchestra conducted by Austin Wintory, plus vocalists Ashley Barrett, Judy Alice Lee, Erin Yvette, and Colin Ryan. It’s a rare gathering of talent behind the music of Hades and its sequel.

For those unfamiliar, Hades established Supergiant Games as masters of atmospheric soundtrack design. The roguelike dungeon crawler pairs hand-painted visuals with Korb’s original score to create an experience that rewards replays through narrative progression and character-driven storytelling. The game’s music became so integral to its identity that fans have long sought live performances, making this concert a significant milestone for the community.

The live stream removes geographic barriers that would otherwise keep players outside the London venue from experiencing the performance. Given the global reach of Hades across Steam, itch.io, and console platforms, the broadcast could introduce the orchestral arrangements to fans who’ve never heard them performed live.

The concert represents a rare moment when a game studio fully commits to celebrating its music as a standalone artistic achievement rather than supplementary content.
