Rungore
Rungore, developed by YOUR_MOM’S_HP and RavenJm, drops a card-battler into real-time idle combat, pulling its DNA equally from Slay the Spire and Loop Hero. Runs are divided into levels, and each run randomizes the events, gear, artifacts, and potions a player encounters, keeping the path distinct on every attempt. The central mechanical departure from most card games is that there is no turn structure and no resource cap on card plays per encounter — a player can throw every card in hand at an enemy simultaneously while both sides act at once, meaning read-speed and sequencing judgment matter as much as deck construction. Thirteen playable heroes each bring their own card pools to that system, and the enemy roster runs to over a hundred types across more than thirty bosses spread across fifteen levels. Artifacts number over one hundred and twenty, and events exceed that count as well, giving individual runs substantial surface area for variance. The difficulty sits closer to the punishing end: real-time pressure on card decisions, a New Game+ mode explicitly framed as a serious challenge, and a volume of content that rewards players who have internalized the systems. A psychopathic tutorial guide, the developer’s words, is included — the tone throughout is deliberately irreverent.

- 120+ artifacts and 120+ randomized events per run
- 30+ bosses across 15 levels, plus New Game+ difficulty tier
- 17-language localization
- Co-op mode supporting two players, introduced in version 1.1
The game entered early access in October 2023 with patches through that autumn addressing balance, radiation mechanics, potions, and optimization. Version 0.8 arrived in November 2023, followed by 0.85 in December. The Engineer and Toxic heroes were added in version 0.9 in March 2024. The 1.0 release came on May 16, 2024. In March 2026, update 1.1 added a co-op mode and two additional heroes, marking the most substantial post-launch expansion to date.
