Megaloot
A mysterious tower has appeared, replicating objects from countless other realities into one endless space packed with monsters, strange creatures, and loot. Finding yourself pulled inside, the only way forward is deeper into the tower, one battle and one carefully managed bag of loot at a time.
Megaloot is an inventory management roguelike RPG from developer axilirate. Fighting through fierce battles for armor, magic rings, and weapons, spending earned gold on new gear, and absorbing power from items discarded along the way, you’ll combine loot strategically to craft dominating builds and become the tower’s ultimate power hunter.
What Makes It Different?
- Battle through an endless tower packed with monsters and mysterious loot
- Absorb mythical power from discarded items to strengthen your build mid-battle
- Choose from over 150 unique loot items with synergistic effects
- Combine 27+ stats, including Toxicity, Strength, Wisdom, and Faith, into unique builds
- Use potions and tomes to boost power and seek out reforged, enhanced gear
- Banish excess loot to refresh the shop with better options
- Play as one of 10 characters, each bringing their own unique abilities
Every Item Matters, Even the Ones You Drop
Managing loot in Megaloot goes beyond simply equipping the best gear available. Discarding an item mid-battle can still be turned to your advantage, briefly absorbing its mythical power for a moment of added strength right when it’s needed most. Balancing what to keep, what to sell, and what to sacrifice for a temporary boost becomes a constant, satisfying puzzle, and getting that balance right is often what separates a strong build from a doomed one.
150+ Items, Endless Combinations
With over 150 unique loot items and more than 27 stats to combine them with, Megaloot leans hard into experimentation. Reforging gear into enhanced versions, banishing unwanted loot to refresh the shop, and stacking synergistic effects together all feed into crafting a genuinely dominating setup. Choosing from 10 distinct characters adds another layer of variety, letting each new attempt start from a completely different foundation.
How Long Does a Run Take?
A single game run generally lasts between 1.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on how fast decisions are made and the pacing of the build. Because the tower features endless levels, run times can stretch much longer as a build gets stronger and fights become more complex on higher floors. Newer players tackling a full standard run, such as aiming to reach Floor 60 to beat the primary sequence of the tower, should expect to spend roughly 2 to 3 hours per attempt.

Good If You Like…
If you enjoyed Heretic’s Fork, Backpack Battles, or Path of Achra, Megaloot’s deep, item-driven build crafting should be well worth a look. It shares a publisher with Heretic’s Fork, so fans of that hellish tower defense deckbuilder will likely find a lot to love here too.
