Little Noah: Scion of Paradise, developed by Cygames and Grounding Inc. and released June 28, 2022, casts players as Noah, an alchemist prodigy who crashes into mysterious floating ruins and must explore them to gather the parts needed to repair her airship.

Each run takes Noah through procedurally arranged dungeons ending in boss encounters. Combat is action-oriented and built around Lilliputs—over forty recruitable miniature allies who join Noah’s party and define her attack patterns. The order in which Lilliputs are slotted into the lineup directly changes the combo strings available, so party composition is a tactical decision rather than a stat-padding exercise. Items and abilities collected inside a run layer onto that foundation for the duration of that attempt.

Between runs, mana earned in the ruins funds repairs and upgrades to facilities aboard Noah’s airship. Each facility offers different persistent bonuses, giving players meaningful choices about how to strengthen Noah for subsequent attempts. Dying in the ruins is not punishing in the permanent sense; accumulated resources carry over and the upgrade loop ensures forward momentum is always available. The game sits toward the accessible end of the roguelite spectrum, designed to be completable without demanding mastery of its systems.

  • 40+ Lilliputs, each recruitable and usable as party members mid-run
  • Combo strings that change based on Lilliput lineup order
  • Airship facility upgrades providing persistent, player-directed bonuses
  • Procedurally shifting dungeon layouts with boss encounters
  • Separate items and power-ups collectible within individual runs

Post-launch support was active and consistent through the game’s first year. A series of numbered Alchemical Updates ran from July 2022 through February 2023, reaching at least eight installments; the second major content update and new DLC arrived in September 2022 alongside the fifth entry in that series, and a new mode and additional Lilliput were added in a separate August 2022 patch. Version numbering moved from 1.01 through at least 1.40 by early 2023. Activity slowed after that wave, with a December 2025 patch addressing a Unity security vulnerability representing the most recent recorded update.
