FTL: Faster Than Light

FTL: Faster Than Light is a landmark ‘spaceship simulation roguelike-like’ in which the player captains a starship fleeing across a randomly generated galaxy, pursued by a rebel fleet. Rather than direct dogfighting, play involves managing the ship’s systems, power, and crew in real-time-with-pause tactical battles and crises. Every jump presents events, choices, and dangers, from boarding parties and fires to difficult moral decisions. Permadeath and scarce resources make each run a tense survival puzzle.
