Game Details
Barony is a first-person dungeon-crawler roguelike with cooperative play, blending old-school RPG mechanics with retro 3D visuals. Players adventure solo or in a party using classic and unusual RPG classes, descending through brutal dungeons to lift an evil lich’s curse. It emphasizes systemic interactions, resource management, and emergent moments, recalling tabletop dungeon crawls. Co-op play, with all the chaos it brings, is a major draw. Permadeath and unforgiving design test players’ wits and teamwork. Surviving the dungeons together is the central challenge.
