Voidigo
Bosses don’t politely wait for you behind a giant door in Voidigo. If they’re losing a fight, they’ll simply run away, smash through a wall, and disappear into another part of the dungeon, forcing you to chase them down before they have a chance to recover. That constant pursuit gives every run an unpredictable rhythm, turning each boss encounter into a frantic game of cat and mouse rather than a single arena battle.
Everything else is just as wonderfully chaotic. Inspired by classic twin-stick shooters, Voidigo throws you into vibrant procedurally generated worlds filled with bizarre creatures, eccentric characters, and an ever-growing collection of outrageous weapons. Whether you’re wielding a conventional firearm or something considerably stranger, the goal is always the same…To stay mobile, experiment with your build, and survive long enough to hunt down the next runaway boss.
What Makes It Different?
- Hunt bosses that flee from combat and reappear elsewhere in the dungeon
- Battle through colourful procedurally generated worlds packed with bizarre enemies
- Experiment with more than 500 items, weapons, and power-ups
- Unlock a growing roster of playable characters with their own starting loadouts
- Discover strange NPCs, hidden secrets, and unexpected encounters throughout every run
- Master fast-paced twin-stick combat built around constant movement and aggressive play
- Take on increasingly challenging runs with countless weapon and item combinations
Every Chase Changes the Run
Voidigo rewards players who embrace improvisation. Weapons and passive items appear constantly throughout a run, encouraging you to adapt your strategy instead of relying on a single build. Some combinations flood rooms with projectiles, others focus on elemental effects or melee attacks, while certain upgrades completely transform how your character approaches combat. With hundreds of possible combinations, even familiar weapons can feel completely different from one run to the next.
The fleeing boss mechanic ties everything together. Rather than acting as isolated encounters, bosses become recurring threats that weave through each level, creating moments where exploration, combat, and pursuit naturally overlap. Alongside unlockable characters, hidden areas, NPC interactions, and plenty of secrets, it gives every expedition a sense of momentum that rarely lets up until the boss finally goes down.
Beneath its colorful art style and playful sense of humor is a surprisingly demanding roguelite that rewards quick reactions, creative builds, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected. Few games make chasing down a boss feel this satisfying, especially when they’re just as determined to escape as you are to catch them.
Good If You Like…
Players who enjoy Enter the Gungeon, Doomsday Hunters, Nuclear Throne, Dead Estate, or other twin-stick roguelites built around relentless movement, inventive weapon combinations, and fast-paced combat should have a great time hunting down everything Voidigo throws at them.
