PinRogue
Launch the ball, chase the score, and watch chaos take over. Every bumper hit, every combo strung together, and every upgrade bought between levels pushes toward one goal: building something absurd enough to shatter the high score before time runs out.
PinRogue is a pinball roguelike from developers Magnús Andri, Darri Rafn, and Daníel Ingvarsson, where physics, strategy, and chaos collide. Launching balls through large, semi-procedural levels, chaining bumpers into satisfying combos, and spending hard-earned tickets on powerful upgrades between stages, you’ll chase increasingly game-breaking builds while racing the clock to hit each level’s score goal.
What Makes It Different?
- Race against the clock to hit score goals across large, semi-procedural levels
- Chain bumper collisions into satisfying combos for score and momentum
- Spend tickets in between-level shops on powerful, build-defining upgrades
- Choose from over 50 unique upgrades to stack into game-breaking builds
- Unlock and experiment with a variety of powerful balls, each with its own feel
- Push through at least 5 escalating difficulty stages
- Compete daily against friends with a dedicated Daily Run mode
Every Bounce Builds the Score
Combat in PinRogue never stops moving. Using flippers for a powerful launch and a midair dash for extra maneuverability, colliding with bumpers builds up score, multiplier, and momentum all at once, and keeping that chain going under time pressure is where most of the tension comes from. Reaching a level’s score goal before the timer runs out demands equal parts physics instinct and smart planning about which bumpers to chase.
Shop Between Every Level
Between levels, tickets earned from a strong run get poured straight back into the shop. Combining powerful upgrades with unique balls opens the door to infinite build variety, and with over 50 upgrades to experiment with, finding a combination that snowballs out of control is a huge part of the appeal. Competing for a spot on the leaderboard, or chasing a better score in the daily challenge, gives even a single strong run plenty of reason to come back for another.
How Long Does a Run Take?
An individual run typically lasts between 10 to 20 minutes. The game’s structure revolves around fast, level-based challenges where players rush to hit score goals within strict time limits, though run times can shift depending on a few factors. Short runs of 5 to 10 minutes happen when balls run out early or a level’s score requirement isn’t met before the timer runs out, while average runs of 10 to 20 minutes cover a solid, successful push through multiple stages while collecting upgrades and power-ups along the way. Skilled players with highly efficient builds, or those competing in the infinite modes, can push individual runs well past the 20-minute mark.
Controller Support
PinRogue features Partial Controller Support for Xbox Controllers and PlayStation Controllers.
