Shovel Knight Dig is a fast-paced action roguelite spin-off of Shovel Knight, in which the hero digs his way down an ever-changing vertical chasm. Players jump, slash, and dig through procedurally assembled rooms, chasing the thief Drill Knight to stop the land from collapsing. The downward digging gives it a brisk, momentum-driven pace distinct from the original platformers. Players meet new friends and foes, collect relics, and upgrade their kit across runs. Its crisp pixel art and tight controls uphold the Shovel Knight standard. Digging downward at speed while reacting to hazards is the core skill.
