Vampire Crawlers has just received one of its biggest updates yet, combining a brand-new Endless Mode with a collection of quality-of-life improvements across Steam and Xbox.
The biggest addition is Endless Mode. Once unlocked, players can continue digging long after a dungeon’s normal ending, taking on increasingly difficult encounters as they push deeper into the unknown. If you’ve ever looked at the end of a run and thought, “I could probably go a bit further,” the game is now happy to test that theory.
Outside of Endless Mode, the update also introduces a new unified deck view that displays every card in one place. Whether a card is sitting in your deck, waiting in your hand, or buried in the discard pile, it’s now much easier to keep track of everything at a glance.
Card sorting has also been expanded, allowing players to organize their decks by mana cost or colour, while the Jeweller system has received several clarity improvements to make gem management more intuitive. Players will also now see when level-up rewards can evolve cards they’ve previously discovered combinations for.
It’s a sizeable update for a game that’s already built around finding ridiculous synergies and pushing builds as far as they’ll go.
