A mobile fortress under fire demands split-second decisions. Irondrive, a top-down vehicular roguelike from developer Alessandro Le Mura, commits to that premise. Your base is always moving through hostile territory, your crew is always breaking, and every repair decision cascades into the next crisis.
The game combines crew management with real-time base building, asking you to balance competing survival needs in a single run. Manage hunger and injuries, watch for panic, automate repairs where possible, though critical systems demand hands-on attention. Enemy vehicles attack while the fortress rolls forward, and a dynamic damage system spawns emergent problems like fire, hull breaches and system failures that spiral fast once they start.
No two runs play the same. The game is tagged as roguelite with permadeath, survival, colony sim, and procedural generation mechanics.
Irondrive is planned for Q1 2027 and is currently available as a demo on Steam.
