If you’re the kind of roguelite player who always says “just one more floor,” Raiders of Below has some good news…
The newly released action roguelite launches with more than 100 items, extensive build customization, and an Infinite Mode designed for players who never want a successful run to end.
One of the more interesting things about Raiders of Below is that it rarely tells you what kind of character you’re supposed to become. Want to pour everything into raw damage? Go for it. Prefer turning yourself into an unkillable dungeon-crawling disaster that refuses to die? That’s on the table too.
Every level presents new opportunities to shape your build, and with 15 different stats to invest in, two heroes, more than 40 abilities, and over 100 items waiting to be discovered, things can get weird surprisingly quickly.
The dungeons themselves aren’t interested in standing still either. New enemies, bosses, and challenges appear as you push deeper underground, making every descent feel like another step into the unknown.
Of course, you don’t have to face any of it alone. Raiders of Below supports online co-op for up to four players, which means you can either carefully coordinate your builds with friends or collectively make terrible decisions together. Both approaches are perfectly valid.
There’s also a catch to taking your time. The longer you linger in the dungeon, the stronger your enemies become. Every extra minute spent hunting for loot or exploring another room is effectively a wager. Maybe you’ll find something incredible. Maybe you’ll create a problem for your future self. That’s part of the fun.
Then there’s Infinite Mode. This lets you loop back through the dungeon while keeping your items, levels, and hard-earned power. If you’ve ever wanted to see just how ridiculous a build can become when nobody tells it to calm down, this is probably where you’ll spend most of your time.
Available now on Steam, Raiders of Below looks built for players who enjoy experimenting, pushing their luck, and seeing what happens when a good run is allowed to keep going.
