Buster Ball is locked up, and the only way out is through. In this prison, the walls themselves are the enemy, and clearing enough blocks to reach freedom means finding the perfect angle before those walls drain every last bit of life he has left.

Buster Breaks Out is a fast-paced, brick-breaking roguelite from developer Nose Corporation. Guiding a paddle to help Buster smash through blocks, shop for upgrades between floors, and smuggle in powerful Contraband balls, you’ll climb 25 floors and take down 5 wardens on the way to breaking out for good.

What Makes It Different?

  • Guide Buster’s paddle to break blocks while avoiding deadly wall hits
  • Choose from over 40 unique upgrades of different rarities at the shop
  • Modify your build with 18 powerful Contraband balls that change the game
  • Boost your odds with special blocks, consumables, and multipliers at the Vending Machine
  • Climb 25 floors and defeat 5 wardens along the way
  • Unlock 4 additional characters, each with unique playstyles and stories
  • Take on 15 challenges, each with their own unique modifiers

The Walls Are the Real Threat

Buster Breaks Out flips the usual brick-breaker formula on its head by turning the walls into genuine danger rather than a harmless boundary. Every hit against a wall drains Buster’s remaining life, so finding the right angle of attack matters just as much as clearing blocks. That constant tension between aggressive shot-taking and careful control gives even a familiar genre a real sense of risk.

Build a Prison Break Worth Bragging About

Between floors, cash earned from breaking blocks funds a shop full of over 40 upgrades, while Contraband balls smuggled in add entirely new rules to how a run plays out. Filling out the Ballpedia with all 70 different balls, unlocking 4 additional characters with their own stories and difficulty levels, and chasing a spot on the Weekly Run leaderboard all give dedicated players plenty of reasons to keep breaking out again and again.

How Long Does a Run Take?

An average single run typically lasts around 20 to 45 minutes, depending on pace and how far progress goes through its 25 floors.

Controller Support

Buster Breaks Out features Full Controller Support for Xbox Controllers and PlayStation Controllers.

Good If You Like…

If you enjoyed Peglin, PinRogue, or Balatro, Buster Breaks Out’s mix of physics-based scoring and roguelite build-crafting should be well worth a look.
