Bulletreign, developed by Semih Cagatay, drops the player into a top-down military warzone where each run is framed as a deliberate offensive operation rather than a desperate survival scenario. Released on June 23, 2026 into Early Access, it casts the player as the commander of an armored vehicle — tank, APC, or attack helicopter — pushing into enemy territory to complete objectives and extract.

Combat follows the survivor-genre template: a single starting weapon escalates rapidly as enemies die and level-up choices stack new arms and passive abilities onto the vehicle. Each of the 25 weapons gains power through upgrades and, at its ceiling, transforms — railguns split into twin shots, drones finish with a kamikaze detonation, turrets lock into a sustained siege mode. Reaching certain weapon combinations triggers one of nine fusions, collapsing two weapons into a single more destructive system.

  • Six rescuable crew specialists with distinct active roles: speed, armor repair, demolition charges, and others fill four available slots per run.
  • Tactical objectives including flag captures, hangar destructions, and prison camp liberations pull the player deeper into the map rather than letting them hold a fixed position.
  • An armored train boss loops the battlefield on a fixed rail; players dismantle it car by car and turret by turret.
  • 58-plus permanent upgrades unlock new vehicles, expand starting loadouts, and grant revival charges across runs.
  • 82 badges tracking weapon mastery, vehicle milestones, boss kills, and hidden challenges.

The game sits toward the demanding end of the spectrum — objectives require pushing into dense enemy concentrations rather than farming safe ground, and the train encounter punishes passivity. Early Access launch fixes addressed Steam achievements, cloud save synchronisation, language sync, and a keyboard layout problem including arrow key support. The developer describes the weapons, crew, progression, and boss systems as complete, with balance tuning and content additions ongoing.
