Welcome to AllRogues – Please Read Before Posting
AllRogues is a community for fans of roguelike and roguelite games. Keep it fun, keep it fair. These rules exist so everyone can enjoy talking about the games they love.
Community Conduct
1. Be respectful
Debate builds and strategies all you want, but keep it about the game – not the person. No insults, personal attacks, or harassment of any kind. Disagreements are fine; hostility isn’t.
2. No hate speech or discrimination
Content that demeans anyone based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, or disability will be removed and the account actioned. This is non-negotiable.
3. Keep it SFW
No explicit, graphic, or NSFW content. This includes images, links, and descriptions. When in doubt, don’t post it.
4. No harassment or witch-hunting
Don’t target other users, call for pile-ons, or post personal information about anyone. If you have a problem with another user, report them – don’t retaliate.
Posting Guidelines
5. Post in the right place
Use the appropriate subforum for your topic. Game-specific discussion, news, build sharing, and general chat all have dedicated spaces. Misfiled threads may be moved without notice.
6. Search before you post
Check whether your question or topic already has an active thread before creating a new one. Duplicate threads clutter the forum and split the conversation.
7. Use spoiler tags
If your post contains story spoilers, late-game content, or secret unlocks, wrap them in spoiler tags. Not everyone is on the same run as you.
8. No spam or low-effort posts
Posts that exist only to bump a thread, farm replies, or add nothing to the conversation will be removed. Put a little thought into what you share.
Links and Promotion
9. No self-promotion without context
You’re welcome to share your content – streams, videos, guides – as long as you’re an active, contributing member of the community. Drive-by link drops with no engagement will be removed.
10. No affiliate links or undisclosed advertising
If you have a financial interest in something you’re linking to, disclose it clearly. Undisclosed affiliate links or paid promotion will be removed.
Enforcement
11. Moderator decisions are final
If a moderator removes a post or issues a warning, don’t relitigate it in public. Use the report system or reach out via DM to a moderator if you believe a mistake was made.
12. Report, don’t engage
If you see a rule violation, hit the report button. Responding to bad-faith posts or trolls gives them what they want and makes moderation harder. Let us handle it.
Rules are updated as the community grows. The moderation team reserves the right to act on behavior that violates the spirit of these rules even if not explicitly listed.
