Deep Space Survivor Demo Turns A Bad Space Trip Into A Bullet Heaven

A new demo for Deep Space Survivor: Endless Starfield has landed on Steam, dropping players into an unfamiliar universe where survival depends on equal parts firepower and resource management.

Developed by NodeStudio, the game begins with an interstellar battleship stranded far from home after finding itself in unknown territory. Unfortunately, the local welcome committee appears to consist entirely of hostile alien fleets.

Like many survivor-style roguelites, combat revolves around battling increasingly large enemy waves while collecting resources from defeated foes. Where Deep Space Survivor separates itself from the crowd is through its crafting and progression systems. Ore gathered during runs can be used to construct orbital weapons, improve equipment, and unlock increasingly powerful upgrades as you push deeper into dangerous star systems.

Each region introduces new enemy types and environments, encouraging players to experiment with different upgrade paths and weapon combinations. Over time, those decisions feed into the creation of custom super weapons capable of turning overwhelming odds into manageable problems.

The newly released demo offers a small taste of the full experience, featuring a limited selection of levels and a portion of the game’s weapon roster. While not everything is available yet, there’s enough content here to showcase the mix of resource gathering, crafting, and large-scale space combat that defines the experience.

For players who enjoy survivor-style progression with a science-fiction twist, the demo offers a chance to see whether this trip into the unknown is worth taking.
