A small indie team has announced that Dark Age Dinos, their turn-based tactical roguelike, will launch on November 5. The developers, who describe the game as built entirely by hand with no AI-generated art or music, are looking to expand the player base ahead of the release.
Dark Age Dinos seats 1 to 4 players in a medieval world of sword-wielding dinosaurs where teamwork shapes your path through short adventures. Individual runs finish in under an hour, making the game fit for quick sessions. The core loop centers on stacking abilities to forge synergies across your party, whether you’re chasing broken builds in multiplayer or controlling two characters solo for full strategic control.
You can experiment with vastly different approaches. Turn a tank into a fire mage to chain your allies’ Burn effects, or try strategies that seem ridiculous until they somehow work.
During Early Access, the developers plan to add new heroes, enemies, environments, bosses, and abilities, while using player feedback to guide balance and future content. Those interested can explore the game further on the official site.
