Luminas: Parasite Reign
Luminas: Parasite Reign hands you three heroes instead of one and expects you to turn them into a team that can survive overwhelming enemy waves. Every run becomes a balancing act between strengthening individual characters and discovering how their abilities work together, with the best combinations often appearing when you least expect them.
Set in the fantasy world of Solaris Land, Luminas: Parasite Reign is a party-based survivor roguelite where you control up to three magical creatures known as Luminas. Each one brings its own spells, traits, and skill paths into battle, allowing you to experiment with everything from traditional damage, tank, and support roles to more unusual combinations built around healing, reviving, or overwhelming enemies with magical synergies. As you survive longer, you’ll collect treasures, evolve your party, and prepare for increasingly dangerous bosses waiting deeper into each map.
What Makes It Different?
- Control a party of up to three Luminas instead of a single character
- Choose from eight playable Luminas with unique spells, traits, and playstyles

- Evolve Luminas during a run to unlock stronger abilities and improved stats
- Discover special combinations where certain Luminas unlock unique combo abilities together
- Progress through three dynamic maps filled with unique enemies and bosses
- Unlock individual skill trees for every Lumina through permanent progression
- Increase Corruption to introduce tougher enemies and changing gameplay rules
Building the Right Party Matters
Every Lumina is powerful on its own, but the real strategy comes from deciding who fights alongside who. Some parties focus on keeping everyone alive, others lean into overwhelming damage, while certain combinations unlock entirely new abilities when the right Luminas fight together.
That gives every run its own personality. Rather than chasing the same upgrades every time, you’re encouraged to experiment with different party compositions and discover how new treasures complement the team you’ve assembled.
Every Upgrade Opens New Possibilities
Surviving longer means collecting increasingly powerful treasures, but your party also grows in other ways. Luminas can evolve during a run, gaining stronger abilities and improved statistics that can completely change how they perform in battle.
Outside each expedition, every Lumina has its own skill tree waiting to be expanded. Combined with treasures unlocked through the village vendor, there’s always another build waiting to be explored the next time you step back into Solaris Land.
Turn Up the Corruption
Finishing a run isn’t where the challenge ends. Corruption introduces new gameplay rules, stronger enemies, expanded rosters, and even different camera perspectives, encouraging experienced players to keep pushing beyond the standard difficulty.
It gives the game a satisfying sense of progression. As your understanding of different parties grows, the world responds by introducing fresh challenges that demand entirely new strategies.
How Long Does a Run Take?
An official average run length has not yet been established for Luminas: Parasite Reign. As a survivor-style roguelite, successful runs will generally vary depending on your party, build, and stage progression, although similar games in the genre often see full survival runs lasting around 20 to 30 minutes.
Controller Support
Luminas: Parasite Reign offers full controller support for Xbox controllers.
