Tower Tactics: Liberation
Tower Tactics: Liberation is a single-player roguelike deckbuilder where towers and spells are played from a deck to defend against the Salkoth. Each run sends you across a procedurally generated map filled with battles, events, rewards, and different routes to consider, while the deck you build determines which towers you can deploy and which spells you can cast once combat begins.
Every journey gives you another chance to shape a different strategy. You can build around towers and spells that support one another, collect trinkets that strengthen particular interactions, and decide whether to take a safer route or accept more risk in pursuit of better rewards. With changing environments, map layouts, events, and relics, the challenge is not simply placing towers well. It is creating a deck capable of handling whatever the next path brings.

Your Deck Is Your Defence
The towers available during battle come directly from the deck you have assembled, which means every card choice affects what you will be able to build later. Adding more options can give you answers to a wider range of threats, but cards that work well together can create a much more focused defence. Spells sit alongside your towers, giving you another way to influence battles when placement alone is not enough.
Trinkets can push those strategies further by reinforcing existing combinations or opening up new ones. Since different trinkets, cards, and routes appear during each journey, a deck that begins with one idea may develop in a completely different direction before the run is over. Choosing which rewards are worth pursuing becomes part of the build, especially when stronger opportunities require taking a more dangerous path.
Eighteen Ways to Approach the Salkoth
Tower Tactics: Liberation includes 18 decks, each designed around a different combat strategy. That gives you multiple starting points for experimenting with tower placement, spell use, card combinations, and trinket interactions rather than forcing every run towards the same solution.
The procedurally generated maps keep those strategies under pressure. Layouts change, combat environments vary, and events can alter what happens between battles. Once the standard challenge is no longer enough, the Ascension system raises the difficulty further, while the Shrine can provide additional power during those harder attempts.
