Voidloop takes a different approach to the usual dungeon crawler. Instead of charging through caves in search of the next boss, your biggest priority is gathering resources, deciding how deep you’re willing to go, and making it back to camp with everything you’ve collected. Every descent into the void feels like a balancing act between greed and survival, with the promise of better rewards always tempting you to push a little further.
You play as a lonely Void Spirit searching for the way home, using a small camp as your base between expeditions. Each trip into the procedurally generated caves introduces new hazards, enemies, and valuable resources, while the upgrades you unlock gradually make future runs more ambitious. Mining sits at the heart of the experience, but it’s supported by plenty of progression through new skills, equipment, and permanent upgrades that steadily transform your tiny spirit into something far more powerful.
What Makes It Different?
- Five distinct cave biomes, each with their own layouts, hazards, and resources
- A mining-focused roguelite where gathering materials is just as important as surviving combat
- Race towards Floor 20 in every cave before time runs out to secure valuable gems
- Return to camp between runs to trade, craft, and upgrade with the Blacksmith, Shopkeeper, and Witch
- More than 60 items, 34 skills, and over 100 permanent upgrades to unlock
- Incremental progression that makes every expedition a little stronger than the last
How It Plays
Every run begins back at camp before sending you into a freshly generated cave in search of resources and rare loot. The deeper you travel, the greater the rewards become, but every extra floor also brings tougher enemies and the pressure of reaching Floor 20 before time catches up with you. Choosing when to keep digging and when to head back becomes just as important as winning the next fight.
Returning safely means cashing in everything you’ve gathered. New materials can be traded, crafted into useful upgrades, or invested in permanent improvements that carry over into future runs. Over time, those steady upgrades make it possible to survive longer, mine more efficiently, and eventually reach parts of the caves that once felt completely out of reach.
