A meteorite has fallen, and its secrets aren’t giving themselves up easily. Assembling a party of heroes and guiding them across ruined battlefields, untouched forests, and gloomy dungeons, every choice made along the way shapes what’s waiting at the end of the road.

ROGUERIA: Roguelikes X Tactics is a turn-based strategic combat game from developer Waxycorn Studio. Recruiting and growing a roster of heroes, teaching them the right skills to overcome monsters and events, and choosing between safer or riskier paths across a procedurally shifting world, you’ll lead your party toward the meteorite’s secret and, hopefully, peace for Rogueria.

What Makes It Different?

  • Choose from 8 heroes, each with different basic stats and growth potential
  • Explore a procedurally generated world, with map layout and events different every run
  • Teach heroes from a pool of 140 unique skills to grow their power
  • Discover over 100 artifacts that grant permanent bonuses and shape synergies
  • Face 18 types of themed henchmen monsters and 5 powerful bosses
  • Navigate 87 events that test your judgment as much as your combat skill
  • Choose between safer or riskier paths, each offering different rewards

Every Adventure Starts From Scratch

No two trips through Rogueria unfold the same way. The moment a new adventure begins, the world reshuffles itself, meaning battlefields, items, monsters, events, and even the heroes waiting to be recruited are all completely different from the last attempt. Choosing a safer route depending on a hero’s condition, or gambling on a riskier path for better rewards, adds a genuine layer of decision-making on top of the combat itself.

Heroes Built Through Choices

Every hero in Rogueria starts unfinished, growing stronger only through the skills taught to them as an adventure progresses. With 140 unique skills and over 100 artifacts to discover, building a party capable of handling whatever the world throws at it comes down to teaching the right lessons at the right time. Artifacts synergizing with a completed party can push a build in genuinely powerful directions, or simply point toward what direction to take next.

How Long Does a Run Take?

A full, successful playthrough of a single run typically takes between 45 to 75 minutes, depending on pace and how heavily the game’s choice-driven nodal events get engaged with. As a turn-based grid strategy game, run time can fluctuate based on a built-in Pursuer mechanic, where taking too long to reach a boss spawns powerful enemies that hunt the party down, forcing a brisk pace. Length also varies based on how many nodes, whether battles, shops, or narrative events, get cleared before tackling a region’s boss, and later stages demand deeper tactical strategy to coordinate heroes’ skills and artifact synergy, which can stretch combat encounters further. Fully unlocking all 8 heroes, mastering the 140+ unique skills, and seeing all the different theme environments will easily extend overall playtime across multiple runs into 15 to 20 or more hours.
