Ratatouille Builder Fixes Steam Achievements, Bumps Up Shelter Size

The developers of Ratatouille Builder rolled out a patch on July 7 that restores Steam achievement functionality, which according to the official announcement had not been working properly until now. Players should see all previously earned achievements unlock automatically on their next launch of the game.

As well as fixing the achievements, the update rebalances core progression mechanics. The starting shelter size has been increased from 15 to 20, and the “Upgrading your shelter” bonus now grants 10 additional shelter size instead of 5, making early-game expansion feel less glacial.

The patch also addresses a lingering bug where the last room remaining on the shelf would appear empty even when additional food should have been stored there. New feedback has been added to warn players when they’re carrying too much inventory, rounding out a set of quality-of-life improvements.

The recently released cooking roguelike tasks you with managing a garden-to-table restaurant operation, where you discover recipes, plan harvests, and serve dishes tailored to villagers’ individual tastes in exchange for tips and guild favors.

Ratatouille Builder is available to buy now on Steam and you can follow the developer on social media to stay on top of any future updates.
