Got Playstation Premium Plus? You Can Now Try Housemarque’s Saros Free for 2.5 Hours

Housemarque announced that a trial for Saros with its roguelike elements is now available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. The trial runs for 2.5 hours, giving players a window to sample the studio’s roguelike third-person shooter before committing to a purchase.

While Housemarque is best known for Returnal, the spotlight this time falls on Saros, the studio’s upcoming sci-fi action game. The newly released PlayStation Plus Premium trial gives subscribers up to 2.5 hours to see what the next Housemarque experience is all about before committing to the full game.

Like Returnal before it, Saros leans into fast-paced combat and atmospheric sci-fi, but this time players find themselves stranded on the mysterious planet Carcosa, where every death reshapes the world around them. Rather than starting completely from scratch after each failed attempt, Saros introduces a progression system that lets you grow stronger over time, encouraging players to push a little further with every run.

A couple of hours should be enough to get a feel for the game’s combat, explore its eerie world, and decide whether Housemarque’s latest adventure is one you want to stick with. If the trial leaves you wanting more, the full game is available now for PlayStation Plus Premium members to continue without losing progress.
