Half the fun of a good roguelike is discovering a build that feels like it probably shouldn’t exist. Mortal Sin has just added eight more opportunities to do exactly that.
The latest update introduces eight brand-new unique items, expanding the game’s already impressive collection of build possibilities while also bringing new language support and a range of bug fixes behind the scenes.
Designed around fast-paced first-person melee combat, Mortal Sin rewards aggressive play, quick reactions, and clever item combinations. Every run sends players through hand-crafted rooms filled with randomized encounters, quests, and enemies, with multiple character classes offering their own distinct weapons, abilities, and fighting styles.
The new items promise even more opportunities for experimentation, giving players fresh ways to discover powerful synergies and completely rethink how a run unfolds.
The update also expands Mortal Sin’s accessibility with several new community translations, making the game available in more languages while the developer continues refining localization with player feedback.
Alongside the new content, a collection of bug fixes and stability improvements has been rolled out to help smooth out the overall experience, although the developer hasn’t detailed every individual change.
For a game built around discovering wildly overpowered combinations and adapting on the fly, adding eight new unique items is more than just another update. It’s eight more reasons to say, “Just one more run.”
