A patch deployed to Relief has addressed two issues affecting the deckbuilding roguelike’s core systems. According to the patch notes, the update resolved a problem where certain artifacts displayed incorrect ownership and tier information when playing in English language settings.
The second fix targeted the results screen, where using a drink item would fail to properly restore health. This was a quality-of-life concern for players trying to heal between encounters (a common strategy in roguelikes where recovery options are precious).
The fixes are modest in scope, but they touch on elements central to recently launched Relief‘s loop. The game features over 300 artifacts that players combine with more than 1,000 cards to construct builds, so clarity on artifact tiers and ownership matters when deciding which pieces to keep or discard.
The health restoration fix ensures that consumable items work as intended during a run’s downtime, removing friction from an otherwise straightforward mechanic.
If you’re playing Relief on Steam, the patch is live now and should apply automatically. The game remains in active development, so further tweaks and balance changes are likely ahead.
